I have no idea about the hats - but all the Brits were gaga over them, and it seems to be some sort of tradition over there. They all talked about having to make them in school.

And then...they lost the empire :)

You don't wear those stupid paper hats at Christmas in Canada? you poor poor bastards..at least tell me you have bon bons that explode and cause third degree burns, christmas isn't christmas without those!
