Trees
Hi All,
Not much to say. We are overworked - especially Kelly. Counting the days to R&R in Cambodia (May 13), and then the days to the end of the contract (May 31).
I am currently sitting in the office with the temperature at a comfortable 27 degrees inside.
There is someone next to me with headphones on ... singing to herself ...the song I don't know, but it has been the same one all day. She won't be on Indonesian Idol anytime soon, but she does have the self confidence to get up and sing in front of people at the Hotel Sultan karaoke outings. She isn't the only one that does this - Indonesians really have no shame :)
Someone just around the corner is playing music on her computer by someone who must have been raised on Zamfir, Master of the Pan Flute. The song is someone picking away at a classical guitar muzak renditions of The Eagles' Hotel California. That song has also been in heavy rotation throughout the day at random times.
Periodically, there are explosions of laughter and shouting and other generally crazy goings-on.
I'm trying to stay as sane as possible under the circumstances, and get some work done. I'm not entirely sure why....
