Govan and the Car
Govan's current obession is his little car. He's obsessed with it the moment he sees it (so we hide it behind the door to the basement - which we never open in his presence as that is just a pandora's box).
He was first obsessed with the car back in Ghana when he played with Charlotte and Lily's car, but back then he needed it for stability.
Walking

Now he's traipsing around with it like a man possessed.
He's progressed from using it as a walker to dragging it around and over steps, to riding it, to riding it backwards. It also doesn't matter if it's inside or outside, he needs to pick it up and try new things

There's no happier thing in his life than driving his car into the side of the house. We're hoping that viewpoint changes by the time he gets his licence.
His other recent obsession is reading books. He's always liked books, especially at bed time, but nowadays he will grab you by the hand and lead you to a book. He's got his favourites, and an ABC of hockey seems to have jumped to the top of the heap - he even says 'Bobby!' when Bobby Orr's picture appears under B!
