Sugarbush 2010
Spent the day at a sugarbush not too far from Ottawa. We've been to a couple near by, so this time we went a bit further out to Wheelers.
Beautiful day! 28C or so. Sunny as all get out. It felt a bit odd to be heading to a sugar bush in that weather, and, talking with the guy running the horse and wagon ride, it seemed to limit the crowds. He figures they were down about 30% or so for the weekend. But all that was good for us, as we got a personal wagon ride, no line ups for lunch, and not too many kids on the play ground.
Highlight for Gov, after the horses, was definitely the slide.
Nice and bumpy, so all the kids would yell as they went down... good times. Even Kelly got in on the action
Love those photos - makes it look like they are entering from a portal to space or something.

Not entirely sure what Gov says at the end there. I prefer to think he says "Bonk" which is our favourite word when bumping in to each other, or playing kitchen hockey (now front-room-hockey). But, ya, I suppose it could be the F-word. But there is no reason for him to say that. If he fell, maybe, but I think it's "Bonk"
