It's been a few weeks, but we haven't done too much except go up to Gord's cottage and hang about town.
New developments...
7 teeth!
He's mobile now, he's still not too interested in crawling, but very interested in walking (with the parent's killing their backs holding his hands).
Today was a banner day as he actually propelled himself forward - Up to now, he could sit up on his own, and he'd do a 360 turn on his belly, but even if he had to just move forward an inch to get a toy, he would not do it - he'd whine until someone came by to offer their hands, so that he could stand, take one step and then sit down again!
Now he still doesn't seem to want to crawl, but he'll get up on one knee, and use the other leg to push forward. I should get a photo of it I guess...
And, as you can see from the photo here, he's pulling himself up to standing. No painful falling yet, but there's still time :)
So, basically, we used to plop him on the ground in front of a toy, and walk away to do things. Now, we still do that, but he doesn't stay in the same place for long anymore.... but generally, he doesn't seem to find he most dangerous item at hand too fast ...
We're tired just thinking of the chasing that is ahead of us!
