Why TV is bad?

This is why we turn the TV off when Govan is around (unless there is a hockey game on)

We left the remote on the couch, and Govan found it. After using it as a phone for a little bit, he started pressing buttons, turned on the TV and assumed the position.

Click through on the photo for more from Govan's TV discovery.

Alex is just as easily mesmerized by the TV but sometimes you just need some time to get stuff done without him hanging off your ankles or wanting to do something with you and puzzles/books/cars only seem to last so long. TV seems to be able to lock him in for as long as you'd let him (which we try to restrict too, but I watched plenty of TV as a kid and it didn't do me any obvious damage, which you could prove in court)

Important stuff like spending two hours playing Spore? I mean, doing research within your industry.

We're still in the naive stage where we think we can be hippie space age parents of the new millennium. Or maybe that's the 'juice' talkin'
